We are delighted to announce the launch of Journal of Psychological Experience (JPsyExp), a new open-access publication in psychology dedicated to promoting and advancing insights from underrepresented voices that transform the world.

JPsyExp warmly welcomes submissions from all subfields of psychology.

We are particularly committed to amplifying voices from underrepresented and minority backgrounds, recognising that diverse perspectives are crucial for a comprehensive understanding of psychological phenomena. The journal aims to provide a platform for innovative research, theories, and methodologies that challenge conventional wisdom and offer fresh insights into psychological issues across diverse cultural, social, and geographical contexts. We encourage submissions that focus on understudied populations, employ novel research designs, or explore the intersection of psychology with other disciplines.

JPsyExp is committed to rigorous peer review, rapid publication, and wide dissemination of research findings to a broad audience of researchers, practitioners, and policymakers. Our peer-review process is designed to be fair, thorough, and constructive, supporting authors in refining their work for maximum impact.

We invite researchers at all career stages, especially those from historically marginalised groups, to consider JPsyExp as a venue for their work. Early career researchers and scholars from the Global South are especially encouraged to submit their work.

For a comprehensive overview of our mission, scope, and submission guidelines, we encourage potential authors and readers to visit our About and Instructions for Authors pages on the journal website.

Join us in this exciting venture to advance psychological science and contribute to a more nuanced understanding of the human experience.
